Caroline Yang is a Minnesota-based photographer specializing in photojournalism and documentary photography. Since opening her studio in 2001, she has worked with clients such as The New York TImes, San Francisco Chronicle, Huffington Post, Sports Illustrated, Minnesota Public Radio, US Speedskating, Trek Bicycles, Nike and Boston Scientific. Major documentary projects have included the 2004-2006 Tours de France, the 2008 Presidential and Senatorial Campaign events, a project focusing on hunger issues in Minnesota, and the 150th Anniversary of the US-Dakota War of 1862. She has had five solo exhibitions, and is currently documenting St. Paul Ballet, Element Boxing and the social justice movement in the Twin Cities.
Yang earned a BA from Tufts University in Boston, MA, and worked as an advertising account executive at Fallon for three years before beginning her career as a professional photographer.
